Busy weekend....

Last weekend was a busy weekend. We visited my parents so we could both celebrate Father's Day with my dad and so we could all celebrate my oldest son's b-day all together. We played golf, went to a skate park, had a waterballoon war, played board games, ate ribs cooked on the grill, opened b-day presents and ate cake and icecream. We had a great time. Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

Some GQ boys...

We did a quick shoot of the son of a friend of ours. His name is Gabe. The fact was he was more interested in playing at the playground then in my camera. We still managed to get a few good shots. Of course my boys wanted in on the action. My youngest loves being the model and my oldest wanted to be behind a camera on his own so I gave him my backup camera and away we went. Hope you enjoy these Katrina!

Trash the Dress

Last weekend I had the opportunity to do a fun and creative "Trash the Dress" shoot with Tina.

What may you ask is "Trash the Dress." Well, instead of buying the wedding dress and then letting it sit in the closet for the next 50 years, why not pull it out and have a creative photo session in some crazy, creative locations. The "TTD" shoot can be done weeks or months after your wedding when you are no longer worried about getting it dirty.

Well, Tina, I had a blast during our session and I think we got some great images that you're going to love. I can't wait to build your album. Here are a few "Sneak Peak" images......

Strawberries, Funnel Cakes and Guitar Hero

Last weekend was the Strawberry Festival here in Crawfordsville. We took the boys and enjoyed the food, music and games. Here is a picture of the boys playing "Guitar Here" at one of the booths. Don't they look intense.

Senior 2009

Last weekend I had a senior session with Leigha. We had a great time and she was great to work with. So much fun. She graduates in "23" days....she knew exactly how long. Leigha, have fun as you head off to college and I hope you LOVE you pictures. Here are a few to give you a sneak peek!

He loves the camera...

We went on a little family excursion the other day. I have a '93 Jeep Wrangler and we like to pile into it with some snacks and drive the back roads discovering new things. Well, we found an old train trestle and got out and explored around the base of it. While we were looking around I grabbed the quick picture of my youngest son, Trey. He loves the camera. He's always ready to pose for me. Maybe one day he'll be one of America's Top Models.

Show Choir Concert

Last weekend I had the opportunity to take pictures at the Carroll H.S. show choir invitational. It was a long day but I got to see some incredible performances. These kids really work hard and put on an amazing show. There were 6-8 schools represented. I was shooting for a friend who owns Bella Vita Studios in Ft. Wayne. RECENT WEDDING

Here is a shot from a recent wedding. I love the deep spiritual significance of a wedding. Two lives becoming one. A commitment made before God and man. The joining of two lives. Romance, love, passion......sometimes I get a little sappy. I guess I'm just a hopeless romantic at heart. I love this shot because of the deep significance of the marriage vows.
